First stop distanced only 15 minutes by casual boat ride from Orebić. When he boat stops on the stone pier of Badija island just jump out of the boat and later return on the exact time to continue to Vrnik island or Lumbarda or to return back to Orebić. Badija island is a spacious and beautiful nature island with deers walking freely around. You can take a picture of them and feed them with an apple or a carrot (don’t give them brea or any kind of food apart from fruits and vegetables beacuse it is bad for their digestion and forrbiden). You have a walkway around whole island (3 km long), lot of pebble beaches, beautiful monastery (which you can visit and enter inside) and a restaurant where you can have a meal or drink. Don’t lose your ticket (best option is to take a picture by your phone), show it to the skipper when enetering the boat and that’s all. Enjoy!

Explore
Badija island
From the stone pier where we leave you you have a walkway around whole island which is almost 3 km long. Be sure to take at least bottle of water with you since it’s pretty hot during the summer. Along the way you will find lot of pebble beaches, small and big ones but if you claim one of the small ones, you’ll have it pretty much for yourself. Explore monastery from the 14th century (you can come inside for a small additional fee) and check the deers who roam freely on the island.
Swimm, Snorkel & Sunbath
Our recommendation
Find a best beach for yourself and sunbath. Jump into refreshing crystal clear sea and relax or put a mask and look for the shells on the bottom floor and see some fishes.

Literraly 100 meters from the place you leave the boat you will easily find restaurant Badija (you can’t miss it) where you can have a meal or coffee / drink. Restaurant is opened from 11.00 – 18.00 during the season.
